I was invited to a final on-site interview for the Associate Consultant position in the Corporate Strategy and Research team. The process leading up to the final round was well-organized, and communication was professional throughout. However, two days before my scheduled interview, with travel arrangements already confirmed, I was informed that the position had been filled and that the interviews were being canceled. While I appreciate that the team reached out promptly and communicated respectfully, the late timing of the cancellation was disappointing given the stage of the process. Overall, the team was courteous, but the experience highlighted a need for clearer coordination around final-round scheduling and hiring decisions.
