HR called and scheduled a remote interview using Teams. The interview is 30 minutes long attended by the hiring manager and another senior technical person. They started giving me an introduction about the job which was essentially Radar Testing. They have a facility equipped with anechoic chamber where they implement RF testing in order to do various power measurements, calibration & general troubleshooting. After their explanation, I realized that this role is a manufacturing, production & RMA type of nature ,in the meanwhile; the corresponding job description passed me the impression that the roll is a development type of testing which made me apply for it at the first place. Seems like they blindly copied some job description without paying any attention to it. The hiring manager for this role needs to write down the job description making sure to describe it more closer to the job nature. Also, the hiring manager made some comments about how far I live to their facility but, they already have my address on my resume upfront and in case they feel it is a bit of a long commute they should have let their HR whom called me at the first place to go through the commute issue upfront before wasting my time with the interview. Their HR did not ask me about relocation neither mentioned anything about the commute. I learned from a colleague of mine also that he had an interview for this same roll 4 months ago and he was not hired. I am not following further on this job because I am not interested into that job nature.
