I had four interviews. A screener, hiring manager interview and then two final interviews with the team. My first hiring manager interview went great! They wanted to do a final interview so I had to wait for the recruiter to call me and we scheduled it. What made my experience negative was the recruiting process.
I was called to schedule a screener, instead of emailing me first. Most people don't answer calls for numbers they don't know. I was called the day of my hiring manager interview, only for the recruiter to simply say I had an interview. I was accidentally called on a Friday night? I was called the day of my team interview… to schedule another one last minute.
After waiting a week for an update, I was called to tell me I didn’t get the job. I had been emailing with very limited insight other than, "thank you for your interest in the position", which gave me a red flag that I wasn't going to be offered the position. All of the calling the recruiter did, only to send me an auto-reject email. It felt disorganized. The team was great but the recruiting process is outdated and past poor in quality.

I applied on-line and then received a call from the recruiter to schedule the initial interview with them. I confirmed a day/time and received an email confirmation. When that day came, the recruiter never called. What’s worse is they never sent an email to apologize or reschedule but yet I received a rejection email a few weeks later. It was to let me know they enjoyed talking to me but it’s a no go- what a joke.
Recruiter interviews are the first door into a company and I’m glad I didn’t get involved any further with them. There was a clear lack of organization here with disrespect to people’s time. A big piece of advice to this company would be to seriously revamp your recruiting process. No one wants to answer their phone if they don’t know the number, simply sending an email with a calendar link to set up an initial call would save alot of time and stress.
