      Interview Process Feedback for LeafLink I recently completed a six-round interview process with LeafLink, which involved a lot of back and forth. Initially, everything went smoothly, and the recruiter was fantastic. However, communication became delayed towards the end, likely because the recruiter had too much on her plate. Technical Interview: I was informed that I would have a technical interview with three senior engineers/managers, but I wasn't given details about the format. During the call, they decided to try something new and asked me to present a diagram of their CI/CD pipeline. They then requested that I walk them through it, discuss similar tools I had used in my previous roles, and answered random questions throughout the process. I felt the interview went well overall, but at the end, I realized there were parts of the diagram I couldn't see on my screen, which prevented me from providing input on those areas. It would have been helpful to receive more information about the format beforehand or at least in the interview invite. Areas of Improvement Interview: At the end of the process, I had an interview focused on areas for improvement, where I was given feedback on my skill set. Most of the feedback was negative, which was a bit disconcerting, but I handled it professionally. I'm not entirely sure of the purpose of this interview—perhaps it was to see how I react to negative feedback. Final Interview: A few weeks later, I had a final interview with the VP of Product, which was a 30-minute meet-and-greet. I felt confident about my chances after this call, and it went very well. The VP mentioned that I would hear back by that afternoon or the latest by Monday. However, I did not hear back until the following Thursday, when I was informed they would not be moving forward with me. Overall, the process had its emotional ups and downs, but the people I met and spoke with were fantastic. I felt I was a great fit for the role and would have been able to meet their needs effectively.
