I was found on LinkedIn, and responded to the offer. Initial call was from the Director of Communications followed by the Director of Facilities. Both conversations were around 20 minutes, and the company was explained including the company culture. This was followed up by 3 1/2 hours of face to face interviews with the facilities and people teams where I sat one one on one with each person I’d be working with. Everyone was nice and genuine. I appreciate the openness and honesty of each person.This was definitely one of the most unique interviews I’ve been on, and I was pleased by this. At the end, my skills surpassed their needs, and they went with someone who fit with them better at this time-this was communicated to me, and I appreciate this because most places will only say thanks but no thanks without any explanation of why you weren’t picked, not allowing you to grow and make necessary adjustments for future interviews.
