I completed 3 rounds of interviews all the way up to meeting one of the founders. 2 of my referees were called and both gave positive feedback on my performance. Afterwards I didn’t hear back for a week and a half only to be told they weren’t continuing with the role anymore. No apologies given or remorse detected for the time I spent.
