Very Good! It was straightforward, onboarding was simple, and everyone was friendly. I thought that the recruiters were kind and made logistics simple to me upfront. Thank you to the team!

      Entretien

The CEO himself emailed me and asked to schedule a call. He called me within a week or so. We discussed the role, but he was mainly interested to know more about me and my background. I felt that it went well, but he wasn't a very good interviewer, and didn't really engage, as much as just asking random questions. It was hard to gauge his interest for me as much as I questioned the company and their technical teams, and how they operate. Seems to be a micro-startup and it's evident they don't want to pay market rates for a PM. I asked the CEO a few questions about their management style, and how the software teams work on a day-to-day basis. I don't think he was genuine in explaining the dynamics of their teams, but rather gave me the fairy tale story that they are agile, a fun, hyper-expanding super funded company, yada yada... The main negative part of the interviewing experience was the lack of communication, and no response nor feedback from the CEO -- even though I emailed and asked for his feedback and if he has any updates. Obviously, they don't have any dedicated HR or outsourced resource manager that can communicate whether they want to pursue for the role or not. Feels like common courtesy, especially as a startup, to at least send out some sort of email thanking the interviewee for their time. I don't have much positive to say, more than they should probably try to be a bit more pleasant with their candidates. Specially if you're the CEO and you represent your company.. make sure to reach out to the candidates you interviewed.

      Question 1

Can't remember anything specific question, but it was general situational, and how I manage my teams and projects in general.
