Be careful when applying for the interpreter’s job here. I myself went through the phone interview and was told I could go on to present the online exam. The online exam consists of 4 questions: 3 in English and one in Spanish (in my case), where they ask you to speak naturally and elaborate on the topics given. First of all, it turns out I never got my results, I had to ask Human Quality for them (the outsourcing company in Mexico, which is just as bad as LLS) because LLS did not care to let me know I had been rejected. If you have read other reviews here and also on other similar websites, it goes without saying that they either take a long time to answer your emails or they don’t care about answering them at all (and yes, they do see them). Their reasons for rejecting me were ridiculous. They found mistakes where there were none, and they blew the few mistakes I did out of proportion and that gave them an excuse for saying that “I spoke without good pronunciation”. So make sure you don’t even stammer or say the wrong word because that counts a lot against you. I know my skills very well and get nothing but praise and good comments about my English, but someone at LLS decided it was not good enough for them, and gave me very harsh and unfair feedback which pretty much meant I was completely useless for the job. It would seem like evaluators and supervisors at LLS get a kick out of giving both candidates and employees negative comments, as if they were a big authority. But don’t be fooled by this company and read all the positive and most likely fake reviews here; they are usually very poorly written and with awful grammar, probably posted by people from the company itself, which gives you a clear notion of their competence. In any case, if they are indeed legit, and those people are "professional" interpreters working for LLS, how come interpreters who can barely write with proper grammar, let alone speak English were hired? LLS does not care about providing good services. My guess is that they prefer employing incompetent people over great interpreters because they can abuse them and exploit them easier. Most of the elaborate, well-written reviews are negative and from educated and intelligent people who were taken advantage of and are not afraid of saying the truth. So, please, inform yourself and read reviews about LLS before even considering working for them. However, I'd wholeheartedly recommend to stay away from this joke of a company. They will make you waste your time.
