Language Systems International's interview process is the same at all four locations. The candidate is called in for an interview, takes a short grammar test, and then is asked to teach a model lesson at a later date. If all goes well, the candidate is hired and then receives about three hours of training in order to become familiar with the curriculum, teaching method, and class-related paperwork. The only time a teacher would not receive training is if he/she were hired as a substitute teacher (and not for a permanent position), LSI still tries to train even the substitute teachers whenever possible. The training has two parts, one given by the HR Supervisor and one given by either the Program Coordinator or Academic Director.
