The store manager tends to talk WAY more than ask questions, she tries to get a feel for the person and goes largely based on how professionally you are dressed and your application than anything else.

It had to be the most unprofessional interview I've ever had the interviewer was carrying on about what she did not like about the previous assistant manager, and how she felt about the company's implementation of their new modules I guess for customer service nonetheless this lady rented for 3 hours I had never been in an interview so long. I learned everything from the vacation that she just came off of to her best friend out in Tennessee who was a country music singer just a mess she was absolutely unprofessional and then on top of that, in the middle of the interview she stops and says you're overqualified for this job. She stated that she would like to give a former employee that was at another location the position however that individual had not applied. And at the end of it all she said whether or not I hire you I'm still going to call and let you know that we've moved forward or we've selected you. I'm glad she never called

I submitted my resume on Indeed. They called for an interview a few days later and scheduled one the next day. Went into the store. The interview took about 30 minutes. The ad said $13-$21. They offered $17/hr, full-time, with a ton of responsibility. The minimum wage in my area is $14, going up to $14.75 in July 2022. For my level of experience and the intended responsibility, it wasn't worth the pay & lack of benefits.
