At first it was very positive when I met with initial interviewer. She was very friendly and described the position and company very positively. When I actually went in to meet the owner of the company it changed. The owner was on his phone not even listening through most of interview. Then he repeated questions the other person had already asked because he wasn’t listening. He then shot questions at me and I left feeling as if I had been on the stand for a crime. The reviews I read about him on the company website were to the tee. Even though I felt as if the interview had not gone well, the owner and other interviewer made it sound as if they would be calling my references and made a big deal to contact them to let them know not to hype me up too much. Very weird. Then I never heard back from them. An email to tell me it wasn’t a fit would have been nice. I’m very glad I was not hired for this company or position. I was leaving one difficult workplace due to difficult people and he definitely seemed like a difficult person to work for.
