When HR department (S) called to verbally offer, they decided to drastically change the title to "Assistant" Marketing Manager from PR Manager, as well as change the pay range that was discussed. HR asked for references and payslips so she could make an offer, but decided to retract the "verbal offer" after 1 month of interviews and communication. Verdict: Company with no budget, wants talents but tries to squeeze to get "bang for their buck". HR person is also very unresponsive and unprofessional when asking for confidential information.
