1. Call with recruiter It was super tricky to schedule a call. When scheduled, the recruiter failed to turn up. When the interview did get scheduled, the discussion with crip and to the point. 2. Coding - 1 simple coding question but I didn't quite do very well on this. Overall, I found the recruiter very unprofessional when she would not turn in meetings, didn't bother to respond to emails and finally after spending several hours of my time interviewing, did not have the basic courtesy to respond with a yes/ no email.

I went through two technical interview rounds at Lab49. The first round was fairly standard and went smoothly — a few general questions on data structures and a LeetCode-style coding problem. The interviewer was engaged and responsive.
Unfortunately, the second round was a very different experience. I was given a partially written codebase and asked to implement an interface using multithreading. After presenting the task, the interviewer seemed to disengage completely and started focusing on other things. I had to repeat clarifying questions multiple times just to get his attention, and even then, it often took him a while to reorient himself to the context before responding. At one point, he gave an incorrect answer, which I realized only later during the implementation.
Overall, the lack of attentiveness and professionalism during the second round felt quite disrespectful and left a negative impression.

Applied online, then contacted by a recruiter. The process took around 4 weeks and was very smooth. Recruiter was responsive, kept me informed and provided expectations for each round. Interviewers were warm, personable, and seemed very knowledgeable. had interesting conversations about the work they do.
