      Entretien pour Digital Project Manager

      Candidature

J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 4 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez LMO en août 2015

      Entretien

The process started with email questions which then transitioned to a phone interview. After that I was offered a face to face interview. The email questions were standard filter questions to weed out people. The phone interview was geared more towards establishing expectations and sharing relevant experiences. The person that conducted my phone interview was extremely nice and made the whole process very comfortable. She was very responsive during the entire process. The only down side is LMO's salary range for the position is extremely un-competitive for this area if a person truly has the desired certifications, experience, and most of all the security clearance listed on the job posting under "you'll impress us if you have". In reality, their maximum figure should be the minimum starting amount. I suspect this why the position seems to be continually re-posted every 15-30 days. LMO also demonstrated a clear lack of understanding the DoD environment. Simple things like what it takes for a company to maintain a security clearance and if they had the support personnel in place like an FSO could not be demonstrated. This makes the "eligibility for a security clearance" aspect of the job posting confusing. I was offered a chance for a face to face interview after my phone interview. However, at the end of the day, both the interviewer and myself concluded I was probably over qualified for the position. With the salary constraints they are really seeking junior level or below talent. The company has a lot going for it and I wish them continued success. I have no doubt that I could fill a gap they have in terms of skill and knowledge. However, the cost of taking a 30% pay cut did not outweigh the benefits. Moral of the story: Make sure you understand what THEY are truly looking for.
