Supervisor will promise you the moon and make the job sound like it is a 9-5 job when in actuality, most of the nurses there end up having to do the charting at home and are up half of the night due to the ungodly amount of patients they expect you to see in one day not to mention the drive time that goes with it. Pay per visit does not give you much when you factor in the hours you spend working on one visit from start to finish including the charting. Misleading about orientation process, you are given a print out of what to expect and nothing is done like what they give you. Once you sign and accept the job, they pretty much leave you own your own to watch videos...no live human being. Ride along preceptor is never the same person although they tell you that you will be with your teamleader.
