J'ai postulé en personne. Le processus a pris 5 jours. J'ai passé un entretien chez Kroger (Searcy, AR) en juin 2011
Entretien
Very brief. Didn't even try to ask about my work background, what shifts I was available to work, didn't offer uniform had to ask for it. Only gave me a 12 hour notice before having to go to training in North Little Rock nor did they compensate for the gas mileage like promised. Didn't explain that I was going to be a cashier until after I completed the week training course for deli/bakery and came in on my first day of work at that store.

First interview was rather standard, just a set of behavioral questions and explaining the job description. I do have a second interview with the store manager so we'll see how it goes.
J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 1 semaine. J'ai passé un entretien chez Kroger (Fort Wayne, IN) en juin 2025

The interview process was straightforward. They texted me that they wanted to interview me, along with a link to a page listing the times they had available. (The page said 3 people would interview me, but I was actually only interviewed by one.) Once I selected a time, they sent me reminders the day before and the day of the interview. When I showed up at the store, it took me a second to find someone to alert that I was there for an interview. It took around 5 minutes for them to find a hiring manager. The interview lasted only 10-15 minutes instead of the allotted 30.

Question 1
Do you have any responsibilities that may prevent you from being available for shifts?

First you have to call them for a phone interview. Then, there is an in person interview. After that, there is orientation for the position you applied for. It was fairly easy.
