The company has very arrogant HRs and very pathetic HR policies. I have never seen such an unprofessional HR in my life who yelled over the phone to the selected candidates if they tried to negotiate their salaries. And hands down to her language and the tone. People come for interviews because the company called them and not to get insulted.
The company will first let the candidates know that they are selected and then they will stop replying to the candidates queries. My friend waited all week for their revert because he was supposed to be updated by the weekend. They failed to do that too.
And list of red flags:
1) The company should never call people and tell them you are selected if you don't mean that.
2) The company should never put a salary range of 0-10 lakhs in their Naukri ads if you don't mean that.
3) The company ask the candidates about the salary expectations even before the first round begins and many times later, why do they even bother to ask that?
If you can't afford, say no. End of story. Why does the company insist on going until the last round, select a candidate and then start nit-picking in the months of experience just to lower down the salary? It is an unprofessional move.
And please don't call people and say you are selected and then keep them hanging . What if a candidate was working elsewhere and had left that company based on the conversation? What if the candidate had rejected other offers trusting you?
