      Entretien

Was contacted on a Friday in February, Was interrupted while speaking to tell me that it was a bad connection however, I could hear the person just fine. I suggested several times to call me back and i'd move to another location but the HR person insisted that we reschedule. We rescheduled for that Monday. The call was scheduled for a specific time and when it wasn't forthcoming, I called HR and was told that they rescheduled it to later in the day when the email that was sent to me that previous Friday clearly indicated an earlier time. The earlier time was more convenient and I had planned my day according to the earlier time however, agreed to the later time. The call came several minutes past the scheduled time and I was told yet again, it was a bad connection. I suggested I call her when I returned to work and would use the landline before office hours. A time for Wednesday was set at a much earlier time than I am used to arriving at my current job however, being a key holder, I can access the building. I was ready and waiting for the call from HR and when it wasn't forthcoming, I called the HR direct number and extension per their email. The phone just rang and rang and I was therefore, unable to leave a message. when 25 minutes had passed and still no call, I emailed the HR person and stated that in my entire career, I've never had this much trouble trying to connect for an interview and that, I was so put off by the unprofessional that this HR person exhibited towards me that I was no longer interested in being considered further for the opportunity or future attempts to talk with her. I come with a wealth of experience, education and knowledge in several industries and Kohler could been made a great benefactor of these skill sets however, if the HR that conducted herself like this is any indication of what it'd be like to actually work for Kohler/Baker then I'd pass because without common courtesy exhibited at the professional level is bound to reverberate at the basic human level. If someone at the Kohler Headquarters cares at all for their reputation in trying to obtain and retain quality people to help them innovate their processes then I'd suggest you seek to hire human beings to your HR Dept and not automatons that give a less than desirable impression of Kohler/Baker and what resides within.
