I was told to meet them in the customer service area. When I got there, there was one person sitting there doing nothing but playing with something. She told me that the interviewer would be out in a minute. When they finally came out I was told that the person who was originally suppose to do my interview could not do it and that she would be doing it. She proceeded to take me to the back office where I would be put in a small room and asked questions, with people rudely barging in. She started off by asking me some easy questions to ease the tension of this being my first interview. After answering the questions which took about five minutes or more she told me that I was hired and that I would be making 7.35 an hour and then proceeded to ask me if that was "Ok". I said yes because I needed the job and the money to save up for college and had not heard back from any where else that I had applied. I began to sign paper works and was told that I would be working as a seasonal employee, with a chance of being kept on later after the season was over.

Relatively easy asked me to tell them about how I would handle different situations and previous retails experience. I interviewed with a manager and was asked about my availability. I got a call the same day.

Group interview in conference room of the store. Very calm atmosphere with two of the managers and easy questions . About Kohl's history and past experience with customer service. They went around the room and everyone took turns answering and told us asked the people who passed the interview to stay afterwards.
