After having a referral by a long time employee, I got called for an interview two weeks after putting in a resume online for the cashier position. After reading reviews about how interviews at Kohl's typically goes, I was expecting a group interview, but the interview was actually one-on-one. The manager that interviewed me was very friendly and I was less nervous as the interview went on because of the friendly personality. Three days after my interview I got a call letting me know that I received the job and that I would be making minimum wage. Since this was my first job I had no problem accepting the offer.

Group interview in conference room of the store. Very calm atmosphere with two of the managers and easy questions . About Kohl's history and past experience with customer service. They went around the room and everyone took turns answering and told us asked the people who passed the interview to stay afterwards.
