I applied online and was scheduled for an interview a few days later. I applied for the position of a seasonal freight associate, but I somehow got lumped in with all of the seasonal sales associate candidates. I did not realize this until during the group interview where the interviewer assumed we were all there for the same position. It was a group interview with two of the head managers of that branch. I was mixed in with a bunch of high school kids who barely had any work experience. Be the first one to answer because in this setting, the last person that answers gets the least bit of attention. Base of the interview, they did not have a position open for a seasonal freight associate but just put it up there to recruit more candidates for the seasonal sales associate position. I had no interest in a sales position at all. I wanted to walk out in the middle of the group interview once I found out there was no seasonal freight associate position but I just chose to stick around to get some experience with group interviews. Because of that, it wasn't a complete waste of time.

It was a group interview and you all answered the same questions. It got pretty repetitive because once someone heard a good answer of course they'd just repeat it after they heard it.
