I applied online in early June and was called a week later for an interview. The interview consisted of the questions you have seen here before. They did ask why we were there and why they should hire us. It was a group interview of about 10 of us and one person interviewing. I was asked what I would do if I saw a person stealing and I stated that I would let them know I was there by approaching them and saying "hi" then I would call security. It was not an intimidating interview, but I had already read that they would ask a few people to stay and that they were the one's who would get a second interview. Nobody was asked to stay! And there were people who had 15 year's experience in retail! I later found out that the next manager who would interview was on vacation and then in a car wreck. I got called 2 weeks later (after I had given up all hope) and had my second interview and was hired.
