I applied online got an email about a few days later for an interview that same week. I went in for the interview which was at 12:15. I waited for a while sitting on a bench but when the time reached 12:14 I got restless and asked the nearest employee where Tanya was and said I was there for an interview. He sent was nice and sent me to the break room where I went and spent 30 minutes in there waiting for Tanya. Then I saw her and she called my name and the interview started. We introduced ourselves and she asked basic and redundant questions such as why do you want this job? What can you provide to this environment?how can you add to my crew? Etc. I wasn't nervous and answered all her questions. But after a while I got a vibe that I wouldn't be getting the job. And I didn't.

I went in and asked for Cody. They called him on the phone. He came up to the Service Desk and got me and he and I walked to the back of the store where he conducted the interview. Cody explained to me that the store had inventory going on the next day.

I didn't even get interviewed. I just went in and was asked when I could work and the hiring manager gave me a drug test paper and I was hired. Already from the interview invite, I was asked to bring some papers so from the start it appeared as if I would not actually be interviewed.

I was asked questions regarding my work history, handling customer situations, etc. Then I was asked about availability, hours, payscale. It was generally an open conversation with the manager, they were more interested in reading me a person instead of working off of a formal interview sheet like some retail managers are required to do. Overall it was totally a low-stress experience. A little confidence goes a long way here!
