Was originally referred by an independent recruiter, and they said they wouldn't be hiring for someone at my level. Apparently they changed course and the hiring manager ended up reaching out a few weeks later and had a positive conversation. Then had a leadership and values interview with an organizational design lead, which also went very well. I took the logic test, which I did well on. Next was a presentation of previous work and a follow up conversation with a team lead, which I thought both went well. Then I heard nothing for nearly two weeks with no feedback or updates on what was going on, and then received a rejection email from a coordinator with no feedback or reasoning behind the decision. Really confusing and disappointing, with no clarity on what to expect. Never even saw an actual job description, so it all felt like a wasted effort at the end of the day.
