I went through a short phone interview and was then asked to complete a one week app redesign assignment. After submitting it, I heard nothing for two weeks. When I followed up, they simply replied, we decided not to move forward with you. It would have been better if they had provided feedback first.

I strongly advise potential candidates against applying here. The interview process is extremely lengthy with little to no communication throughout. I went through several rounds, answering the same questions repeatedly.
While the interviewers were pleasant, their questions were basic, repetitive, and lacked depth. There seemed to be minimal cross-communication among the team members. They frequently delayed responses and failed to adhere to the promised timelines, requiring me to follow up multiple times without timely updates. Additionally, I had to complete a take-home design assignment. I believe they attempted to ghost me, as I was only informed that I wasn't moving forward in the interview process after I reached out for an update, well past the promised timeline.
KiwiCo seems to seek over-qualified candidates for roles they do not intend to compensate adequately.

They send a design test. It was quite a time consuming. There was no response for two weeks. When they reached out again, they said they would not move forward anymore.
