I submitted an online resume for the Denver office, because I thought it would be a cool place to live. Three weeks later I received an e-mail asking me to complete a video interview. It turned out to be a recorded web-cam with a series of nine questions. I set it up at my own convenience and a question would pop up on the screen, gave me 30 seconds to think about it, then it recorded my answer for 2-3 minutes. I only got one redo per question. Three weeks later, I received a call from HR asking me to fly to Denver the next day, a Thursday. The interview happened at the airport hotel, where I was greeted by the HR generalist and escorted to a hotel room where I waited with 10 other applicants from around the country. The interview took place with the District Manager and HR Manager, laid back and we spend 20 minutes talking about me, my hobbies, travel interests, sports teams, etc. Never once did we talk about anything engineering related. That was my interview. I flew home that afternoon and got a phone call the next day with an offer. Everyone who was in that hotel room that day got an offer.

Talked to a recruiter first then talked to a senior manager in my position. You could talk job language with and could definitely relate to each other on day to day job experience
