Red flags everywhere in my process, even at the first step. Applied online. Was rejected, but apparently by mistake, as an interview was requested shortly after.
Had two 1:1 video interviews, then a written assessment, and then a third video interview scheduled with the CEO and another leader. They no-showed and *never* apologized, but HR did. Eventually rescheduled with two engineers, after which I was made a verbal offer.
It took almost a week to get the offer letter. I was originally to report to the CEO, but Keyo made a sudden change to have me report to the CBO. I asked about this, about the vaguely mentioned (not yet in place) stock and bonus programs, and about explicitly requiring employees to give 30 days of notice and forbidding any outside work whatsoever without Keyo's consent. I was assured that plenty of employees have their own businesses and that there was no issue if no conflict of interest. I was told stock and bonus programs were being worked on, but I could sense HR's negativity about me asking for any information. I requested two redlines but made clear they weren't dealbreakers. They would be ran past Legal, and everything seemed fine. I expressed excitement to start once a decision was made on my requests, either way.
After almost a week of no updates, my offer was rescinded with no explanation and a tone-deaf "All the best!". I was supposed to start the following Monday.
It seems that Keyo wants absolutely zero risk, but what risk my questions posed, I do not know. You apparently can't ask questions at Keyo. Keyo is a company with trust at the core of its business, but they don't deserve your trust or your time.
