J'ai postulé via un recruteur. J'ai passé un entretien chez Keyence (Milan) en juin 2023

      Entretien

Process requires 4 steps: 1. This step is divided in 2 parts: before there are the presentation of company, while the second is a presentation of ourselves with other 2 candidates 2. The second step consists in an interview with a Japanese manager ( English) 3. The third part is an interview with an Italian manager and the most important feature is the role play: the manager submits you a situation and you have to be able to lead him to your ideas 4. The fourth ( and last) part is an interview with the Italian director in English For all step, it doesn't required to have a excellent technical preparation, but to be brilliant, ready and proactive in decision and talking

Recruiter reaches out, tells you about the whole company and basically harps on the awesome pay, which is a huge pull of working here... Must take a "HireVue" online interview wherein you essentially answer 7 basic questions...make sure to be dressed professionally.... do not look right into the camera. Take some practice before you answer these questions, but the biggest advice is just act professionally, demonstrate a strong interest in being at Keyence, and don't fumble your answers. This is super basic stuff. Questions include things such as "Why do you want to work at Keyence," "What sets you apart from other people in the sales world?" "What locations interest you the most and why?" take a bennet test/personality test => make sure you spend time on these because they filter out candidates from a simple pass/fail even if you do great on the HireVue Next is the actual interview... Go to Chicago. Product Demo: Most Important Biggest advice is to review the pamphlet and make a slideshow so you can really understand the product. They basically surmise if they want you right after this segment, so make sure you REALLY focus on your product demo and know the product inside and out ... you don't get to use anything or use powerpoint, but when I made a powerpoint and studied it the night before, it really helped (tip: they will ask one question meant to totally stump you/they know you can't answer, deflect this question and try to move convo forward) White Out Demo: Choose the product that is more expensive (might have changed from white out to another product) and upsell them on this product...explain that it might be more costly but is superior and will add-value + cost savings in the long run. They want to see you sell something that is expensive yet superior, just like their products Interview: Traditional interview. Just explain why you're passionate about this job...ASK lots of questions and dig deep into what intrigues you about the company. I wrote these out before hand and remembered them...hiring manager was impressed The other parts are essentially them giving you presentations. You also have a case study but that is super easy and involves 3-4 candidates talking about a business decision...so just have a good conversation and don't dominate the conversation. Super Easy. Go home and feel like you killed it....if you did well they will bring you in for another interview to make sure you're a normal person. If you go to that and don't act like an idiot, you will get the job for sure. Personally, the office was about 30 mins from me so I went...I am assuming if you are far away from an office, they would do an online interview. Basically just a traditional interview but want YOU to ask alot of questions.
