true to other reviews, it was a 10 minute phone call with the CEO after I submitted a few pages worth of application materials (cover letter, resume, writing samples, answering about 15 long answer questions). He asked about experience in writing/media, and if I was comfortable writing/working for causes I didn't agree with, and proceeded to assume my political beliefs in his line of questioning. He asked about if I would "feel happy" about defending raising the price of insulin for lower-income Americans and increasing barriers to health care.

First, submit resume and cover letter to hiring manager. Hiring manager replies with questions to answer, asks for references, and you combine your answers, cover letter, and resume into one document you return to the hiring manager. If they decide to continue, you have a short ~15 minute phone interview. If they decide to continue again, then you have a 2 & 1/2 hour zoom interview in 30-minute segments, with the CEO and different team leads. If they decide to continue again, they ask that you write an op-ed. If they like the op-ed, they check references, and after that, unknown.
