      Entretien

      The HR screening went great although the correspondence for the next step has gone silent until I followed up with it. I got to the next step, an interview with the CEO. As an applicant, the experience went horrible, to say the least. I was still on the call when I received an email from their HR that I am rejected and they're moving forward with other candidates. Not only that, it felt so unprofessional for an interviewer/interviewee to yawn multiple times as we were on the video call, I wasn't the one yawning. I applied for the PM role as I met all the requirements in the job posting but on the call, I was told that compared to the other candidates I would fit more for an APM role. Even as an applicant, I believe respect goes both ways as I am also giving my time and have prepared for the interview. Feeling like I am a waste of their time as the interviewer hurriedly ended our call 15 minutes earlier in a 30-minute interview block. I would appreciate it if I was turned down during the call citing the reasons why and would've taken their feedback objectively. I wouldn't want this to happen to any job seekers out there.
