This is a follow up from an earlier post. After my first interview at Kedren, I was asked to come back in for a second interview approx 3-4 days later. During second interview, I was given an offer which I accepted. Immediately after the interview I was taken to HR to start my package. After completing my live scan and medical evaluation (this includes a Drug test and TB test), HR contacted me a week later with the official offer letter. Pay is decent for someone who just graduated from MSW school but you may get an increase after getting the BBS #/ ASW# and another raise after 6 months of satisfactory job performance. You get extra if bilingual. There was a vignette for the first interview as mentioned in earlier post. For second interview, I started the vignette but didn't finish it but the interviewer didn't ask for it. I will try to give an update in a few months from now about the environment at Kedren. Overall, I dont think the interviews were hard when compared to other places. Starting salary is around $45,000 :P once you get BBS # it's approx $50,000 :-/. After 6 months it may go up to $53,000 :) This includes pay diff for being bilingual (English and Spanish).

Very Brief but very conversation based. I believe the questions were linked to dcfs & dmh collaboration. I do not have any more to say. This interview was very easy but I need to know how beniefts work. I dont think they explained it. I believe the beniefits were simple but not stable. No job security. no consistent therapy. My county experience really helped me get this job. I was an asset to the team. DMH contracted agency but I liked the fact that they allowed you to move departments. The director is the 2nd interview. The first interview is with supervisiors.
