It took a month to be hired from the time i applied. They say 1 in 10 are hired, but I think many people leave before the end of the interview process. They ask you, at the very end, to sign a non-compete, that you will not work for any other test-prep company for one year after leaving them. But, it's not a full-time job, and you will have entire months with no work at all (You work during the one month before an SAT is given. Look at the SAT website; it's offered seven times a year). Are you sure you want to sign that? After you invest a month of your time into the interview process, and you get an offer, it's hard to say no. Keep in mind that you're paid 12/hr for Proctoring (2/8 of your classes). You're paid minimum wage for training and prep. You are not paid for driving to kids' homes or weird high school locations.

The interview was an online process, on the online platform you film yourself answering questions with thirty or so seconds of preparation time. There are a number of different questions of the standard kind, nothing too complicated or unfamiliar. Just be yourself and be passionate and confident!

I found the job posted on craigslist and applied. I was reached out to by a recruiter and submitted proof of my SAT scores and was invited to do an audition. This was online and took about an hour total including practice runs, prepping the questions, etc. I was then invited to schedule a Technical Interview with one of their current teachers. The interviewer spent time pretending to be a student and having me teach the problems to them that I was given to prep ahead of time. They also asked some general situation-based questions. From there I was invited to a hiring manager interview and offered the job. Everyone involved was very professional, friendly, and seemed to love the company a lot, which was a big reason I accepted the job.

Applied online. Then recorded a four-minute presentation of an example SAT problem. After passing that portion, set up a skype interview where I had to present two more SAT problems with the interviewer pretending to be a student. Then, he asked me a few typical interview questions. After passing that part, I had a second skype interview with the regional manager who asked some standard interview questions.
