They called me and told me they wanted to do a phone interview that would be about my resume. I figured it was a behavioral interview so imagine my utter surprise/panic when the interviewer said he'd be doing a mini-case. It was a market-sizing question, which wasn't bad, but I wish I had known there would be one so I could've practiced. Anyways, the interview was typical - asked about why I was interested in the company and consulting. Asked me a question about DCF, which was kind of random. Also about what recent event in business I found interesting. They never got back to me at all though, which I personally think isn't very professional.

Standard telephone interview. I was asked all about my CV, my previous roles, my experience, and how I would deal with difficult situations and conflict. Managing a team was emphasised. We then had a short case, in which I was discouraged from asking about costs and revenues etc, and I had to focus more on the qualitative side of the prospective acquisition.
