The interview is pretty standard especially for charter schools. My experience was negative for many reasons. When the recruiter contacted me, we scheduled a phone interview to which she didn't call. When I emailed her the day of to ensure that we would be having the phone interview, she ignored me. She actually called me on a Saturday morning to have the phone interview. It's not so much calling on Saturday that bothered me but it was her unprofessionalism and lack of communication. Though, the phone interview was pleasant and I was been offered an in person interview. The recruiter was late to the interview. I had to wait an additional 30 minutes in a classroom while the principal had a meeting. When it came time for me to do a read-aloud, within 2-3 minutes, the principal and recruiter left the room which left a sour taste in my mouth. After, I met with the principal to talk one-on-one which was okay. She told me that I would definitely hear back in 2 days. When I went home, I sent a thank you email and there was no response. When I contacted the recruiter after 5 days to follow up about the position, she ignored me. I emailed her once more to possibly receive feedback and she ignored the email again.
