I was invited to go to their head office in Woking for a two day intensive interview process after I attended the golden ticket event in Birmingham. There were 27 other graduates present, with some already graduated. In the time I was there I completed one independent exercise and two group as well as an interview and an evening meal out with the assessors. The first exercise was a presentation which we were given some questions to answer a week in advance, such as why do you think this scheme is right for you. I won't say exactly what the group exercises were but there were about 15 people watching what you do at all times and to be aware of this. just that you should be honest and open during the whole process and make sure to show your full leadership skills but not to treat the other applicants as competition - a little is healthy, a lot is detrimental. The evening meal is another assessment chance so make sure you are still aware but also be a bit more relaxed and hopefully show them who you are without the nerves of being in an official environment. You find out in the afternoon of the second day if you have got an interview for the position and after everyone else has been sent home this is conducted. This was very difficult and be ready to have some examples on hand that show leadership, personal development skills and interpersonal skills. Make sure that you properly research the company beforehand because they are really big on things such as recognition and want to hire graduates who understand this, if you don't do your homework you won't get far!
Overall it was quite a highly stressful process and you are under a lot of pressure for the whole of the two days but that all the assessors are friendly and open about their experiences with the company and quite a few have been in your shoes before so know how your feeling!
