      Entretien

The interview process at K Logix was the worst I have ever experienced. I had a total of 5 interviews over the span of 7 weeks. The interview process starts with a simple phone screening to review your qualifications. Then if you pass the screening you get to the second interview. The second interview you meet with two people: Erin Benson, Managing Director and Danielle Cameron, Director of Business Operations. This interview last between 30 - 40 min. They ask about your background, relevant experience and the job expectations. At the end of this interview both Erin and Danielle told me I seemed like a great fit for the company and wanted to book a third interview. In the third interview you meet with Sr. Lead Consultant, Erik Kammerling. During this interview we discussed various technical details about cybersecurity and current research that is happening in the field. This is about a 40 minute interview. At the end of the interview, Erik told me that he thinks I would a perfect fit with the company and he hasn't met a more qualified candidate. He told me he was going to recommend me to the CEO and would like to set up the 4th interview. The 4th interview I met with Kevin West, CEO and Kevin Pouche, COO. This was probably the most awkward interview I ever had in my life. When the meeting began both of them were late. When they both joined they had no idea that they were going to interview me at the same time. The COO decided to go make lunch and told me he'd hop back in the meeting after the CEO talked with me for a bit. During my time talking with the CEO he just asked about my background and any technical skills that I had. This part took about 10 minutes. When the COO came back, he just introduced himself again, checked my resume , and then told me he would get back to me. After the 4th interview I was asked to send in 3 references. This took about a week for them to contact all my references. Once it cleared, I was asked for a 5th interview. The fifth interview the WORST and most awkward interview I ever had in my life. I again met with Erin Benson, Managing Director and Danielle Cameron, Director of Business Operations. This interview was an hour long. This was hardly an interview. Erin and Danielle just read to me an hour presentation on hour they acquire new businesses, they should me their model and asked me to critique it. At the end of the fifth interview I was told they would make a decision by the end of the week. Two weeks later they got back to me and told me they were not going to move forward.
