J'ai postulé via la recommandation d'un employé. J'ai passé un entretien chez Juniper Square en avr. 2023
Entretien
I interviewed with JS remote via Zoom. After the recruiter screen, I had a 45 minute conversation with the hiring manager. They were new to the role having only been there six months. I found their answers to my questions vague at best. The next session was with another engineer for an hour. It was medium-difficulty leetcode-style question. The interviewer did very little pairing, and mostly watched silently until essentially repeating back the instructions. We ran out of time before I could finish the problem, though my working solution did pass a number of test cases. I was given the chance to ask a few questions afterward, but was then summarily cut off when the interviewer said they had another meeting to attend. I received a rejection via email the next day.

Question 1
Hiring manager asked typical questions about work done in my previous role, etc. The technical interview problem was around processing document names in a way that makes them unique.

They contacted me through triplebyte. Phone call with one of the founders went really well, I was invited to interview onsite.
Onsite interview involved some whiteboard coding and system design, but nothing too crazy. I would say between easy and medium leetcode level, and one interview included refactoring of javascript code.
Everybody was super nice and I even got more enthusiastic about this company after learning more.
The negative review goes because of the postmortem: they promised an answer the same week. I'm still waiting 😹
At least I got free lunch that day.
