      Entretien

      I applied directly. The process has taken appx. 3 weeks. The process includes an initial screening, an interview with the hiring manager, a case study exercise, and peer interviews. I am very impressed and have enjoyed the process. It can be seen as difficult and/or lengthy but I can see how it helps hire the right people. Also, kudos to the peers conducting interviews. Someone mentioned they can be "awkward" -- I disagree. They're not formal recruiters so I don't expect them to act like it. What's more valuable is the facetime you get with someone that you will work with closely. They give you background about themselves, ask 3-4 scripted questions, and spend the rest of the time getting to know you and answering your questions.

      The interview process was really well organized with great communication from the recruiting team. I received a follow up from the recruiting team within 24 hours of completing each round, which is so great to see in the current market. There was four rounds - Recruiter Screen, Hiring Manager Interview, Case Study, and a 5 interview panel. They were kind enough to break up my panel into separate days to accommodate scheduling. However, the back to back panel with each session lasting 45 minutes would be tough if I did it all in one day. Everyone I met with was incredibly kind, and asked thoughtful questions and it felt extremely conversational. The recruiters sent an email before each round to give an overview of what each interview would consist of. The process explored everything from industry knowledge to gaining more personal insights about your EQ and self awareness. Overall: a bit lengthy but the team and people made it a lot less painful.

      Disorganized, no accountability. Promised process would be completed within a month. Took 3 months due to their lack of organization. Additionally, the process made no sense as to why they had 5-6 rounds of interviews. It was pretty confusing that their goal post seemed to change in each part. Not sure they knew what they were looking for. PE is not diverse at all. This is the industry they serve, I get that. But this company is somewhat cult like and not diverse at all in the client facing areas. It’s really just about fitting in and looking the part. I don’t think it’s anything about aptitude or ability to learn. Also, it really seems like a sophomoric culture - like high school. Are you part of this clique? It’s not your potential or your work product. Just your ability to fit a certain mold. Thanks for all the fluff and false info, but just be more up front that if you don’t look like what your group looks like, you aren’t welcome.
