Applied for the position online (located in Milwaukee, WI). Got an email response a few days later requesting a recorded virtual interview. After virtual interview was completed, I was contacted by a recruiter named Shanon Vuckovic who I had a 30-minute conversation with and was advised I would be passed off to corporate HR and should anticipate scheduling an in-person interview within the next following week. Wound up not hearing from anyone from the company for a week so I followed up with the recruiter via email. Never received a response or clarification regarding the position. The job position is still posted on their website as ‘open’. Disappointing recruitment process- wish Johnson Controls recruiters would be more forthright.

Was referred to the position by an internal employee. Had a phone screen one week after I applied online. 3 weeks later I was sent an email saying they went with an internal candidate.

I applied through indeed for the executive assistant position which was also a sales position. I had the interview with Jay and he said “let’s cut to the chase, I need customer service reps not sales or executive assistant” then he read my resume and clearly I had 7 years of sales and tells me I am a fit for only customer service not sales. He looked down on me and made me feel like my skills and sales management experience were useless. Definitely was not worth my time. Will never apply for that company again!
