1) a role play activity which was watched and assessed - individual
2) a group activity with a team of other candidates which was also watched and assessed. In addition the group submitted a write up of the answer to the task

Entretien
I had to fill in an online application form and then was invited to complete tests such as a situational judgement test. I passed all of the tests and was then was invited to an assessment day. I had to prepare a 3 minute presentation about myself, answering some questions:
1. What is your name, what is your current role/most recent role? (please feel free to include education or voluntary work)
2. How would you describe yourself?
3. What is your biggest passion outside of work?
4. What would make you a good fit for John Lewis?
On the day I had to present it to my group. Then I had to complete a group role play exercise: something to do with advertising John Lewis. After that I had an hour interview where I also had to partake in role play: finding the right item for a customer.
