J'ai postulé en ligne. J'ai passé un entretien chez John Lewis & Partners (Exeter, Angleterre) en août 2018

Quite a long set of online "set piece" scenarios to go through, with a range of possible actions to choose from which you have to put in order of "best course of action" to "least best". This took around an hour to complete and it all had to be done in one sitting. After that, I had to wait for an email to say whether I had an interview. This was a group interview (there were four of us), where we had to prepare a hand out for new employees, rather like a crib sheet, of best practices to use in order to maximise customer satisfaction. Two "assessors" stayed whilst we did this between ourselves and took notes but didn't intervene at all. They were especially looking for everyone to work as a team and each member needed to add to the conversation. After 20 minutes, we had to choose someone within the group to present our work. Once this was completed, each interviewee was taken to a different room to be interviewed individually. The offer letter came through after about 2 days.

There is a group exercise and a 1-to-1 interview, which go through your previous experience and a tell me about yourself question. The group exercise is really important in showcasing your team work abilties.

Group interview. Asked about some scenarios and asked to discuss them in the group. It is a pretty relaxed interview and easy to stand out if you answer the questions first but make sure you let others speak and collaborate with them.
