Bait and switch at the interview. The post said it would be for internal communications, copy writing, writing press releases, newsletters, etc. When I got there they told me it was for a position to plan events for outside members. Events for people to buy into their housing. Essentially sales. Their job posting was grossly misleading and quite frankly a waste of everyone's time. I took time off work for the interview, which I would not have done had I known the actual role they were hiring for, and then their employees' time was wasted as well. They also make you take a very long, very outdated test with questions like "if you knew an employee was stealing what would you do."
When I asked them about the discrepancies in the job posting and the interview they said "the role has changed." Honestly I thought they had me mixed up interviewing for another job. If a role has changed, you need to inform the applicant before they show up. Very unprofessional. They called me back for a second interview and I cancelled it. I was not impressed with this organization.
