Thorough. Phone interview, in person interview with area marketing manager and other employees, presentation to give for 2nd interview, 3rd phone interview with regional marketing manager, lots of one on one attention and extremely thorough explanation of the position and the company. The only downside is the extremely low starting pay for the position.

First of all, you don't even need to a cover letter to apply for this job which to me is a red flag.
Started with phone interview. I was instructed to call a number, when I called the girl who picked up didn't even know who I was calling for and gave me the number for the sister company downstairs. When I called that number I was put on hold so they could find the woman I was calling for... I was then put on hold for another 10 minutes because the woman was doing something else, even though we had a set time to talk.
After the phone interview she invited me to come in for an interview. When I arrived for the interview, the woman that was interviewing me didn't introduce herself just told me to hold on as she finished a conversation with someone else. When she came back all she said was, "This is weird but I just hired someone else so you can go."
Such a waste of my time. Would not recommend applying for any job with this company. Very unprofessional and rude.

Way too many interviews for this position. First, there was a phone interview which they asked the basic questions about your resume. Then, there was an in person interview with a Marketing & Events Specialist which was a few more repetitive questions. Third, there was another phone interview with someone from the headquarters. Lastly, was a presentation that needed to be presented. I flew in early from a trip to make it to the last interview as they decided it was urgent and necessary. At the end of my interview, I asked where employees park, since i had to pay for parking during both my interviews. The manager stated that they have a parking garage where I could pay $150 monthly for parking. Absolutely ridiculous. Or I could risk it and park illegally which many of their employees apparently do. The salary offered is already so low compared to the cost of living in Los Angeles. The manager said he would give me a call within 24 hours. 24 hours goes by and no call. I email all three people I interviewed with thanking them and asking them for an update. The only person that responds is a woman who was phone conferenced into the interview! And she tells me that they've decided to go in a different direction. So unprofessional.
