It was a bit strange because I was contacted via LinkedIn and told they were interested in my profile. I was interested because I was casually looking around for new opportunities. I accepted the intereview thinking they were really interested in my profile but when I got there it seemed like the recruiter was surprised at every turn by my resume. I didn't even really learn what I was interviewing for until I got there, thinking it was a conversation about what might be available. It was sort of awkward for a bit but I went through it and tried to be honest about myself and my resume. We talked for quite a while and the interviewers were friendly enough, but I knew it was a waste of time within the first few minutes. We went through the motions and they asked me if I would want to go through a more official interview that was more knowledge based. They promised to send information about the kinds of technology they use, to be more prepared. I figured it was an odd process, but I would see where it went. The info never came and I had to follow up, with them saying they were still interested in my profile and to hang tight, essentially. It still never came, and I kind of forgot about it. Then I got an email saying that they weren't continuing with the process but that they would still send the info they promised. It hasn't come to this day. I wasn't surprised necessarily but I just thought the whole thing was kind of an unnecessary mess. And it didn't reflect well on them to promise stuff and not deliver. I know they don't owe me anything but in terms of common courtesy, it was lacking. Advice to others is that you should make sure the recruiter actually read your resume before bothering with the interview and ask what they are interviewing for--I made too many assumptions, I guess.

Cordialidad, amabilidad Dan feedback Negativo: 1. Sabiendo que sos de Argentina y siendo el reclutados de Argentina, arrancan la entrevista en inglés y luego te dicen ah sos de Argentina no? Podemos schitchear al español porque yo también hablo español. (Ambos previamente sabían, pues existen las redes sociales, que el idioma es español). Creo que se puede switchear tranquilamente al inglés, pero arrancar en inglés como si nada pasara me parece lejano, desafiante para mal y poco cálido. Muy robotico. 2. Las entrevistas siempre sin cámara. Para gente técnica no ll veo mal, pero para un recruiter? Que necesitas ver como se expresa, su interés , su lenguaje no verbal, su amabilidad. Es una posición 80% soft y 30% técnica. Sin cámara? Habla mucho de la cultura interna.
