screening with HR and then an interview with Hiring Manager which went really good until she asked about my personal situation and when I told that I am a mother they decided not to move forward. Not a question to ask on a professional interview

Simple. Typical previous experience, salary and professional growth questions, lasted only 15 mins. Interviewer seemed nice but not interested. It was not a match on either side based on cultural fit.
