*numerous red flags* Applied online and contacted fairly quickly with phone interview 1st, then followed up with in person interview (at coffee shop) in a very busy/loud market area. Interview asked back to back questions (nothing out of the ordinary, just average behavioral questions) but seemed distracted by people walking by (even pointed out a cute baby during the middle of me answering a question), a bit unorganized. Interviewer described the role to me and could not give a definite role explanation and afterwards we walked down to the office space to show me around/introduce me to the team. Office was incredibly small in a rented out/worn out building, probably the size of an average bedroom + bathroom with tables set up with work stations. Very crammed/musky/humid in the office. Employees when introduced didn't seem too ecstatic to greet me and almost looked tired/just wanted to get their work done. Interview ended with manager asking me to reach out within a few days if I was still interested in the offer (which seemed a bit odd to me). I e-mailed the manager that day and never got a response. I've reached out once more to ask for follow up or confirmation regarding if I was being offered/rejected the role and still, no response. Extremely unprofessional and rude to keep candidate waiting without notification. I put in hours of research, interview prep, and taking time out of my day to meet for the interview and the least they can offer is a response saying either "yes" or "no". Seemed like an exciting company and what they're doing is very different and revolutionary in the insurance/renters market but will quickly decline when management/hiring process is this unprofessional. This only goes to show me a glimpse of how management would be if I were to work there.
