      Entretien

I applied online and was contacted about 2-3 days later via email. The email said i would need to do a phone interview ( which was automated). After that a few days later i received another email letting me know i was invited for a face to face interview ( Jan 2019) . Upon arrival i was met with almost 100 other candidates(blth ground ops and airport ops) at the JB long island city head quarters in NYc. The interview was from 10am- about 3:30pm. This included a very informative presentation which highlighted the roles of the job, benefits and some current employees even joined in to share their experiences. It was long but worth it. Really explains everything you need to know ! Withing 4 days a receieved an email saying that it was a contingent offer and They told me everything i needed to submit to verify my last 5 years of employment. They also sent in the email a link for me to schedule my drug test at a local lab. After that was completed, about 3 weeks later they asked for me to come back to the headquarters to take my prints. I worked internationally before so it was a challenge obtaining my verification from those employers, but i finally submitted everything 3 weeks after my in person interview. Its now March and I am awaiting news/ an update from them. I contacted the person in charge of my case( backgroundcheck company) about 2 days ago n she said everything was verified and they would be sending that ocer to JB soon. So all in all i have been patiently waiting for almost 2 months. Its a long, meticulous process, especially if you worked overseas, or you dont have all required documents to hand.

Simple and clear, they asked why I wanted to work there and to tell a little bit about myself. Then there were questions about flexibility to work holidays and weekends

It's definitely a very long process where you have to have a lot of patience in waiting! At least that's how it was for me. I applied June 4th, 2024. I got an email the very next day inviting me to do a virtual audio interview. Pretty standard interview, not as complicated. After the virtual interview you had to complete some personality assessments/games. After all of that was completed, August 1st, 2024, I got an email inviting me for a virtual interview with two of the supervisors alongside some other candidates at the same time. It was a group interview so it was very interesting to experience. The interview followed by a series of around 5 questions mostly about past experiences you've gone through that would showcase how you've dealt with customer service. After the interview, about six days passed by and I received an email saying that I passed to the compliance stage and gave me instructions on the Drug test, Background check, and fingerprinting I needed to do. It took about 5 days for me to complete everything and on August 19th, I received another email saying that I passed the compliance stage and had to schedule a quick phone call with my recruiter the same day. I spoke with my recruiter, he officially offered me the job, told me a little bit about the role, the pay, benefits, and also explained that I would have to go to Orlando, Florida to Jetblue University for training for a duration of about 2 weeks. I will now be heading to Florida for my AO Training in about two weeks. Overall, it was definitely a long process but worth it!
