The first round interview felt relatively relaxed, but the interviewer asked a lot of specific questions that felt a bit excessive, particularly about some of my past work experiences/employers. After the first round (which was 60 minutes) there was a takehome assignment that they gave 24 hours to complete, and then another interview.

If I were to ask your previous manager for feedback, what would they say about you as an employee?
Thanks for your feedback. We do get quite detailed in our interviews to understand how you think and past performance. We've found this really helps us make good hiring decisions.
