First round interview focused on technicals in DCF and EV. Basic behaviorals like why investment banking, why Jefferies, weakness & strength. Second round technicals more on M&A and LBO, also dived deep into my resume, especially projects/deals I have worked on in my previous internships.

Process was organized. The conversation was fast-paced but conversational, reflecting the culture of Sales & Trading.
Interviewer focused on market knowledge, behavioral questions, and a little technical understanding of equities and macro trends. They were clearly assessing both technical competence and personality fit, especially comfort with high-pressure environments and strong communication skills.
Overall, the experience felt competitive but fair
