      Entretien

      I had a job interview - I submitted my resume, and they got back to me only after 15 business days, by email (this is the only company that contacts candidates exclusively by email, not by phone). They asked me to schedule an interview for either the next day or the day after. During the meeting, recruiter grom Netherlands talked about the company and explained the next recruitment steps: a meeting with the manager, an in-office meeting, and then the end of the process. They reached out again two weeks later - I had a call with a manager from the Netherlands, who promised to get back to me quickly after the conversation. Once again, I had to wait a long time for the next call. According to what they said, it was supposed to take place in the office, but in the end it was held online - with a director from Denmark and other people than those listed in the meeting invitation email. During that call, those people were reading my resume for the first time. Then they asked me questions from a test that they could have easily sent online instead of wasting interview time. The director promised quick feedback and encouraged me to stay in touch with HR. Over the next three weeks, I sent three follow-up emails - no reply from Talent Aquisitistion. Only after I contacted the manager directly he responded - apologizing and saying they’d been too busy and had chosen another candidate. (Too busy for three weeks to reply, even though the job posting had already been taken down and my application status still said “under consideration.”) On top of that, at the very end of the process, they suddenly mentioned that the role would require frequent international travel - something that hadn’t been mentioned anywhere else before. To make things worse, he even misspelled my name in the message, and the email itself sounded like it had been generated by AI. Overall, it was the worst recruitment process I’ve ever experienced - completely disrespectful with candidate ghosting.
